The program is aimed at those who are just starting out in their yoga journey and would like to broaden their understanding of the poses and flow. The program also perfect for those who are a bit further along in their journey who would like to enhance their knowledge and perfect their form. While yoga might feel like this impenetrable artform reserved for the superflexible, this is far from the case. Anyone can enjoy and benefit from yoga, regardless of flexibility and ability. Our goal is to equip you with the foundations for you to start and maintain a practice for life and enjoy the many benefits of yoga.
Yoga is a practice and on the Studio’s yoga immersion program we’re all on a journey of discovery together.
Our weekly immersion session provides a safe place for questions and learning. You’ll get to know your downward dog from your baby cobras and learn the traditional names for the poses (asanas) as well so you can sound like (and most importantly know) what you’re doing! You’ll also have plenty of opportunity to practice what you’ve learned with unlimited entry to yoga classes at both stunning studio locations throughout the duration of the program.
Now is the time to start your practice!
You’ll start your yoga journey with a 1.5 hour Welcome & Immersion session which will cover the basics of the 6 week program as well as the studio environment. Every week you’ll attend a dedicated group immersion session with the same instructor who will provide in depth explanation and guidance. Since this is a group program you’ll be on your journey with familiar faces each week creating a friendly and supportive environment. The sessions are designed for you to ask questions and learn. We designed these sessions specifically for this purpose as we understand that sometimes people don’t feel comfortable disrupting the flow of a traditional class by asking a question. At the Studio we want to you to succeed in your practice and feel comfortable as you discover yoga so feel free to ask away – no question is silly. We’re all learning!
Yoga is a practice and to help you practice what you learn in the group session you’ll have UNLIMITED access to any yoga class across the Studio’s two stunning locations for the duration of your 6 week program. With at least 10 yoga classes each week to choose from you’ll have plenty of opportunity to perfect your asanas and discover your passion for yoga as well as experience its many benefits.
We’re offering all this for only $149, which is less than $25 a week!
Please note that this program is subject to our usual terms and conditions. We want you to attend as many yoga sessions as you want, our classes are popular so if you do late cancel or no show you’ll be charged a $5 late cancellation fee or $10 no show fee.
Jacqueline grew up in Canada and followed love to Tasmania two years ago. She has been teaching yoga for over six years and came to the practice as an injured and stressed athlete!
Yoga completely changed the way Jacqueline viewed fitness and balance. It has helped her to become more in tune with her body physically, mentally and emotionally. Yoga teaches you when to be strong but also when to be gentle. When she’s not on the mat or teaching you can find her at Clifton or Park Beach surfing and enjoying Tasmania’s beautiful beaches.
