At The Studio HQ, we’re proud to stand behind our incredible member, Alice, as she takes on the MS May 50km challenge to raise awareness and funds for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) research. Alice, a 34-year-old Tassie Nurse, interior enthusiast, NYC addict, and self-proclaimed Swiftie, bravely shares her journey with MS, highlighting the importance of community support in navigating this invisible illness.
“MS has a high prevalence in Tasmania, especially among women in their 30s—yes, that’s me!” says Alice. “It shook up my world in 2021, but it’s also shown me what’s truly important in life.”
Alice emphasizes the significance of managing MS symptoms through movement and positivity. “MS takes a village to survive,” she notes. “I’m fortunate to have 1:1 sessions with Peter every week at The Studio to keep my body strong and manage symptoms.”
Alice’s motto? “FAB FRIENDS, FAB FAMILY, FAB PILATES.” She encourages everyone to prioritize moving their bodies, fostering positive attitudes, and minimizing stress—an approach that’s crucial in managing MS.
In May, Alice invites us all to run, walk, or roll 50 kilometers alongside her to support MS research and raise awareness. Your contribution can make a world of difference. Please consider donating to Alice’s fundraising campaign “In My Shakeup Era” and let’s leave MS behind!
