Tassie is the gift that keeps on giving. As I continue to travel around our spectacular state I am constantly blown away by every element from the beauty of the landscape, the generosity and passion of the people and the brilliance of the food and drink.
I feel so lucky to spend so much time travelling and exploring- between my job doing Take on Tassie and running my business Epitome Hats I get to constantly see the state from a different perspective and meet the people behind the businesses.
Plus the fact that The Studio- another exceptional family-run Tasmanian business gets to travel by my side and I can workout from anywhere is a testament to Tasmanian resilience and flexibility through what has been a trying time.
There are a few standout locations that are a must-do this summer holidays and it revolves around getting active, adventuring and trying new things.
Luckily all of you fellow readers are all in good shape from your studio classes so no excuses haha.
Mountain Biking
Get the family along to Tasmania’s hot new sport that’s taking the world by storm. Both Maydena and Derby mountain bike parks accommodate for beginners, families and also elite riders and both are situated in such spectacular parts of Tassie.
Russell Falls
One of the most iconic locations in Tasmania. This mind blown seven-tier waterfall is just a short walk from the delicious waterfalls cafe in Mt Field and the perfect family day out.
Sailing
Get those sea legs working for a sail down the Huon River on one of the historic Yukon ship. You even get a chance to help sail the boat plus some yummy home-made treats cooked by the owners or local producers. Then you can explore the rest of the beautiful Huon Valley.
I hope you enjoy getting out there and I look forward to bumping into you at The Studio and please tell me all about what you have been up to.
