We recommend a private session to begin so that you get the most out of your Pilates experience from your first class. We do also have Reformer Orientation group classes. Trust us, you want to know the fundamentals before stepping into class.

Pilates is safe, gentle & low impact, meaning it perfectly suits pregnancy. It strengthens your pelvic floor, can help minimise lower back pain, and improve your balance. It’s safe for pregnancy, and even more transformative in the postpartum period meaning you can continue to access these extraordinary benefits as well after the birth of your baby.

Yes, we welcome pre-natal clients to all our classes. So long as you have sought medical advice, and been cleared. Pilates is an excellent exercise method for pre- and post-natal women!

N.B In group class scenarios, you should have previous experience, if you are passed your first trimester with no previous experience we may not be able to accomodate you in a class for safety reasons.

You will need a minimum of 6 weeks off before return to your workouts at The Studio. As every body is different and to ensure your safety, you will also need your Doctor’s approval prior to exercising.

If you are on a direct debit or annual membership option membership you can request a membership suspension by completing our Membership Suspension Form.  

You can suspend your membership with no charge for a period of up to 6 weeks.

Please note that you will need to complete the form 7 days prior to your suspension to enable us to suspend your direct debit. Request submitted after 4:30PM Friday will not be actioned until Monday morning, please consider this before requesting a suspension.

We’re always sad to see one of our own leave, hopefully it’s for reasons beyond our control. If you do need to cancel your membership for any reason, simply complete our Membership Cancellation Form.

We’ll need at least 7 days notice to complete your request. Please note that forms submitted after 4:30PM on Friday will not be actioned until Monday morning.
