We’re BACK! Important Information About Our Reopening

The Studio SoHo

On Monday, June 15, The Studio will reopen its doors for the first time in more than 10 weeks. We are super excited to welcome all our wonderful members back, to teach face to face again and see everyone’s smiling faces. Reopening doesn’t come without caution and we want to assure all our members that we are taking all appropriate steps to ensure The Studio will be a safe place for everyone.

We have had to modify our class timetable and sizes to ensure that we meet the government guidelines. We will be abiding by all social distancing regulations and aiming to ensure members feel comfortable in every session. We have measured our spaces and changed our capacities and scheduling to ensure no more than 20 members are in the building at one time. This will mean some small changes to how we operate for the time being, but all these small changes will ensure we play our part in keeping you all as safe as possible.

Classes can be booked from Monday, June 8th.

Changes you can you expect to see:

  • Arriving – You will be asked not to arrive more than 5 minutes before the start of your class. This is so when we have back to back classes we can ensure the studios don’t go over the maximum capacity and we minimise members leaving at the same time as those arriving.
  • No entry – Once classes start the studios will be locked to stop additional people entering the building and the capacity being compromised (make sure you’re not late as you will miss the class).
  • Additional hygiene measures – Members will be asked by the instructor to use antibacterial hand sanitiser before the class and at the end of the class. All the studios will also have additional cleaning scheduled.

The Studio HQ Pilates Reformer Socks
Don’t forget to bring your socks to reformer class!

We will be reopening with a new class timetable with classes across all disciplines. However due to the changes in the capacity of each site not being able to exceed 20 people at any time and abiding by all the social distancing requirements the timetable is more limited. Classes will be available across both sites in:

  • Reformer
  • Mat Pilates
  • Cycle
  • Yoga
  • PT
  • Barre
  • There will also be a limited number of times and spaces available in Private and Semi-Private Pilates, so bookings will be absolutely essential.

Our online platform is here to stay, so you will still be able to workout from home either by zoom or from our library of workouts. We have been working with Angus Ashton Film to produce our online content and will be continuing to launch fresh content every week.

As we move into the next period for The Studio we will be streamlining our memberships to reflect the new and improved value with the inclusion of online workouts to all of our packages. The new membership model has something for everyone; if you want to do 7 classes a week in the studio, or want to keep working out from home in your lounge or on the road as travel opens back up, the choice is yours.

Existing and suspended members will be able to renew their existing membership until 1 July and retain their legacy pricing and options. However, any memberships that are not commenced or renewed from 1 July we will move to the new membership model.
